About RPO - Selecting the right partner

What to look for in an RPO provider

A strong relationship with an RPO provider can save organizations considerable time and money – reducing time to hire by over 40% and reducing cost to hire by over 50%.

But not all RPO providers are built the same. If you’re considering an RPO solution, here are some questions to ask yourself or the provider, to determine the right partner to deliver on your business objectives.

1. Flexibility

Can the RPO create a bespoke solution for you? A bespoke solution may not be required but, if it is, ensure the provider has the ability to ‘think outside the box’ and create something new.

2. Global Reach

Does the RPO provider have regional or global reach? A provider with reach will be strongly placed to support and accommodate your growth plans over time.

3. Size and Scale

Where do you fit into the provider’s client portfolio? If you are a small- to medium-sized business, you want an RPO provider who will actually care about your business.

4. Specialization

Does the provider specialise in an industry or skill, for example professional or industrial hires? In today’s market, specialist knowledge is key to sourcing and engaging the best.

5. Client Retention

How strong are their client relationships? RPOs that nurture long-term partnerships do so via outstanding customer care and a commitment to continuous innovation.

6. Capability

How much has the RPO provider outsourced its own capabilities? It’s important to ensure that even the outsourced service can reflect your individual requirements and culture

7. Trust

Are your values aligned? Trust in business is everything. The RPO will be responsible for the engagement of your most important asset – your people.
